SALES ASSOCIATES:
At J. D. Streett, we’re always looking
for Sales
Associates who treat people the way they want
to be treated! As our front-line employees, Sales Associates
are typically the first people our customers interact
with, and the ones that can leave that lasting impression
that inspires customers to come back and trade with us
again, and again. They perform key operational duties
from customer relations and store appearance to cleaning,
stocking, and merchandising. Many Sales Associates decide
they want to learn more about our retail operations and
work to earn promotions to Assistant Managers, and even
Store Managers. (In fact, nearly all of J. D. Streett’s
District Managers started out as Sales Associates!) For
those so inspired, opportunities may be available. From
part-time to full-time, a side job for extra cash, to
a chance to start a career in retail management, there

ASSISTANT MANAGERS:
Assistant Managers are
ideally promoted from our Sales Associates staff, but new
hires of individuals with retail experience and a passion
for customers are
also considered. They have a lot of responsibility and
play a key role in the day to day operation of their store.
They are trained and groomed to, ultimately, be future
Store Managers. From merchandising, placing and receiving
vendor deliveries, to staffing and corporate reporting,
the Assistant Manager is the “right hand” of
the Store Manager. Learn to lead by example in an environment
that fosters mutual respect, fun, and a sense of accomplishment
as an Assistant Manager with J. D. Streett! (Compensations
may vary by location, but range from $20,000 to $33,000
per year.)
STORE MANAGERS:
Store Managers earn a
generous compensation package – starting
with a competitive salary, then complimented with a commission/incentive
package, as well as a generous benefits package with lots
of bells & whistles. If you like dealing with people,
enjoy a fast paced and challenging environment, like to measure
your results and enjoy feelings of accomplishment, then you
can excel in J. D. Streett’s retail environment. Especially,
if you live and work by that golden rule – treat
at others the way you want to be treated. The general earnings
potential for this position, including commissions and incentives,
ranges from $25,000 for smaller stores to $50,000 per year.
